What is this?

At first there was only one, but now there are several of these green tube-ish looking things growing in my tank. Does anyone know what these are?

Tube worm? Do you ever see any critters sticking out of them at night? I've not seen them be green before, but that could be algae on them?

That is Neomeris sp it is a Macro Algae

You do have to keep an eye on it as it can and will spread.

As Ziggy said, it will spread, but shouldn't really get too out of control. It's a calcium based algae, so nothing really eats it. I have a few "stocks" in my tank that I manually remove whenever I can.
