what is this?

This stuff has been in my tank for over three weeks andi don't konw what it is. It is in the overflow part of the tank, in my wet and dry filter, and even in the return pump compartment of the filter. I'm pretty sure it is also on the inside of the tubing. Anyone know what it is?

Q-tip sponges. They'll come and go as the nutrient levels of the tank go up and down.
