What is this

Hello I was walking by my tank and I noticed this thing that looks like a cotton ball that was pull apart and it is white and has white specks all through it here's a picture anyone have any ideas thank you

Do I see an anemone on the right of the picture? It looks like it expelled waste and I see two bristle worms working on it.

Wow I think your right and I never seen the worms until you pointed them out darn good eyes and thank you that's why I love this site

I've also heard that anemones expel waste when introducing them into a new tank. Usually happened within the first 5 days or so. That's what I've heard. I have 3 anemones and its never happened to me

I have seen my expel stuff over the months that I have had them just never that much plus the day before I gave him a pretty big piece of shrimp so I'm sure he was right that's what happened
