So I went to a new lfs today and spoted this in a coral tank. I am not a coral guy but this was cool so i want to know what it is.

I'm not sure if that one eats coral or not...but nudibranch are very specialized eaters. They only eat one thing, be it coral, anemone, algae....and only one type of whatever it is. They will look like whatever they eat so they can blend into their surroundings.

If i recall, this nud requires special foods to feed it. Not sure if its starfish or some other things.

At this point I believe everyone is still guessing what this nudi eats.
Many believe it is a sponge ,but only one specific type of sponge.
I unfortunately tried several years ago to keep these guys in my 29 slow reef.
0 for 2 will be how the record goes for this one.
No more attmepts are planned either.
Very pretty nudi, but basically impossible for most to feed.
