what is this?

Here I am again with my what is this question [acronym:a77b877ef0="Laughing out loud"]LOL[/acronym:a77b877ef0] this just came out today. Bright yellow on the tip picture shows it pretty well. Probably nothing but still intersting.

Looks like the start of some type of macro. Maybe caterpillar weed or halimeda.

I wasn't sure, I never seen anything SO fluorescent in a tank before. It looked like it would glow in the dark It is gone today so maybe someone ate it. I also just turned my lights on so maybe something will happen after a bit. Thanks

I agree with Fluff on this. It totally looks like a caterpiller weed to me.

Sometimes the break off when snails and crabs hit them, but they grow back.

You guys are probably right,,something knocked it down or ate it. I love my new set up 38 [acronym:4fa5fcce0b="Gallon"]gal[/acronym:4fa5fcce0b] with about 40lb live rock(gonna get about 40 more I think) 1 [acronym:4fa5fcce0b="Broken or cut pieces of coral which will eventually grow into a new animal"]frag[/acronym:4fa5fcce0b] of clove polyps, pagoda cup coral, and some star polyps that I can't tell the color yet they are so small. 1 bi color blenny, and one yellow tail damsel. Anyway thanks for the info.
