What is this?
This past Tuesday we got a combonation of blue and red hermits for our 75 gallon tank . This afternoon I noticed some little white things on the glass. Any ideas. Pic attached.

looks like something is spawning. What else do you have in the tank? I've seen video of coral spawning and that's pretty much what it looks like but i doubt that's it.

I am not sure, but that I believe that little starfish towards the left of the pic can become a nuciance. Somebody chime in if I am wrong.

I've had one of those star's in my tank for almost a year now. Never ogt much bigger and disappears for weeks into the rock. Never bothers anything that I can tell.

I can't tell what that is on your glass. How old is your tank? It look like silt or something. Does it brush off?
The starfish isn't a problem. It looks like a Asterina and they are pretty much just algae and detrius consumers.
