Question what is this growing on my turbo snail shell?

I have a turbo snail that has this red spiral thing growing on it. I have attached a photo. I have noticed these red things growing on the power head and on one piece of rock I have. The ones on the snail and on the power head are spiral and the ones on my rock are both spiral and straight like a little twig. But all are this dark red color. Does anyone know what this is and if it is harmful?

Thanks

That looks like a Vermatid snail tube.
They are harmless.
