what is this stick

I bought this at the LFS, it is on the left. Looks like a stick. It has flowing polyps on it. You cannot really see them very good. Does anyone know how it will propigate?

I was not sure so I was waiting for someone else to reply. Well, here is my guess,,,it may be a Gorgonia sp. Do a google and see if it looks like what you have. There are so many...

I can't tell exactly what to look at. But it looks like a gonipora, and will most likely die if thats the case. It's always better to research things before you buy them, or even catch the name of what you bought.

I agree with TC. Looks to be a Sea Fan (gorgonian), probably eunicea.sp.

thanks...it is really interesting. By dark it looks like just a stick, but by light these beautiful "flowers" come out. Love to sway in the current.
