What is this stringy white stuff

What is this white stringy stuff, it's coming from two of our zoa corals now and seems like it's taking over them. I know about dipping the corals but they're glued to my rock structure and I want to avoid removing them

I think that's a type of sponge.

I always thought it was a bacterial fungi and in many cases usually brought on by too much carbon dosing and as above it can spread rapidly all over your corals
