What kind of LR is this, or not?

Looks real to me. The purple stuff is coralline and is good. I`ll need a close up to ID the red things on the rock.

It's some sort of macro algae. Keep it pruned and you should be ok. I'm not sure what kind it is yet as it is a little small and will need to develop in order to get a better ID.
