Kinda looks like a rose bubble tip that's not fully inflated. Whatever it is it's beautiful.

So what kind of lighting/flow do they like?

No worries, all about learning. Mine is doing fine under a little over 2 watts/gallon. I very rarely feed if ever, but it doesn't really grow. It was a hitch hiker on some live rock.
