What the hell

I currently have my tank cycling but im kind of watching over my friends tank for him while hes at college right now and I hadnt gone over for awhile cause its at his parents house and they kind of take care of it...anyway i went over the other day and something is going out of the crushed coral. It looks like a some hard. This is a ****** description but any ideas? Sorry i dont have any pictures right now, maybe tonite but any idea would help a ton.

um, not sure what you mean by "It looks like a some hard"? might want to clarfiy, nay have been a misspelling. anyway, all i get from your post is something crawling out of the crushed coral. does it have a worm shape, with or without legs, color, etc. Sorry, cant really make a guess with the current description

Its like a worm thats about a 1 cm wide and about half an inch tall. Its a dark brownish black color.

It sounds like a peanut worm. They bore into rock, so he's just makin room. They are a good hitchhiker. They will extend out to clean stuff from the rocks. Pretty cool critter. HTH
