I've never heard of blue coraline, but that's the only thing I can make this out to be. Does anyone know what exactly this is?

LOL Looks like your background showing through.

It cold be a sponge, there are blue ones.

Wait for a bit, it's still on the small side but it's more than likely a sponge. Blue sponges (Haliclona sp.) are highly photosynthetic so be sure it gets direct light and good water flow.

Could also be a tunicate of some type but personally I have never heard of blue coralline.

Well that's kind of exciting!

As for the lighting and water flow, I have plenty of water flow, but right now I only have about 2.4 watts per gal. pc. Is that enough for now until I can get my 4x65 watt pc in 2 weeks?

Just elevate the rock some upwards toward the light. Once you get the new light move it down again so you don't bleach it.

Cheers
