I just happened to notice this purple tube of some sort underneath my button polyps frag. Can anyone help me ID? Thanks in advance!

Looks like a feather duster casing. Have you seen anything come out of it?

No not yet..I think he was a hiker from the sand I received from another friends tank. I hope he does open though, that would be cool

Yih I know the deal with mandarins but I have a great lfs that has lots of very fat Mysis trained mandarins the pod situation was my main concern though I would hate to murder suck a beautiful creation
