Hi EVeryone,

Tonight Kaurene and I both observed one of the larger/largest brittle worm in the 29g tank expel some white stuff in the tank..not once but 3 times. As I write this it did it again (makes it 4 times..but not as much as the frist three times). We're wondering what this could be? It's caused our tank to become cloudy. Unfortunately we didn't take any pix while/when it was happening. Anyone have any ideas?

The fish don't seem to be in any discomfort or peril. They're not breathing hard or anything.

Thanks!

John

It's releasing sperm into the water column most likely. Running carbon will get rid of it quite fast but the skimmer should pull it out in time. As long as the other inhabiatnts seem fine and the levels are okay, not much to be concerned about.

Cheers
Steve
