White Line???

My yellow tang has a white line with a brownish spot on him what could this be any suggestions?

i cant get a pic, but this seems to be happening and then going away. the white line is along his side part of his color, and i know for a fact its not ick just curious what is causing this

Yellow tangs have a natural white line that runs down the side of their body, when it is stressed the line is more visible than at other times, but if you look closely, you can always see it.

whats with the brown coloration then thats still a mystery to me i figured that about the white line though

Not sure about the brown patch. Is there any signs that the fish is in distress? Could be some stress coloration or could be a sign of an infection, hard to tell without seeing it.
