I have this weird lookin stuff inside my macro algae and I'm not sure if it should stay or go. I have a little cyano on my macro, and also these white clumps of very thin spaghetti looking strings... the clump is about the size of a sea cucumber. The little...vines or whatever grow around the macro algae but stay pretty much contained within the clump of it... Any help is aprecciated.
Sorry I dont have a pic.

If I had to guess, I'd say it could be a sponge. There are sponges that branch out like that and are pretty invasive. If you don't want it, yank it out. Otherwise, I'd just watch it. This is just speculation though, without a photo. HTH
