White stuff on my LR - Aquarium Advice

What is teh white stuff that is on my [acronym:2722584e4b="Live rock"]LR[/acronym:2722584e4b]??? when i wave my hand over it blows away like a web/film but comes back.
Hopefully the cleaner shrimp and mexican tubors will clean it up cause its nasty looking

Sounds like die off. Is your tank still cycling?

i thought is was done....but the rock has only been in there for 2 weeks.
