white worm thing in my tank any ideas

Hi im new to saltwater and am currently cycling my 260l tank looked today and see this white wormy thing next to my live rock didnt know if I should remove it.

Looks kind of like a tube worm that went into shock and came out of its tube. You can probably just leave it there and let it become food for the tank cycle.
