Wierd stuff growing on my rock?

On the side of my LR, there is this white/clear patch of what looks like gel. Workin on getting a picture of it, but until then, any insight would help alot!

probably a sponge of some kind. I will wait on a pic before saying for sure though.

Agreed. Probably some sort of sponge. I had a batch of white sponge grow over the whole back of my rock. Get a picture though, just to make sure.
