We just started a 20 gallon planted tank here. Snagged a few micro swords and other plants from petco and had at it. The java fern came from a LFS, as did the cryptocoryne. The crypt in the middle has really taken off in the last few days. I used filter media from our other tank and tetra safe start to help move the cycle along...so far so good on that front. Tank is stocked with a powder blue gourami, goldfish, and 4 bloodfin tetras who, I think, are trying to spawn.
Apologies for the cloudy water...its remnants of the safestart stuff. I've found it clears up after a few days.
