Lol. Thanks. Huge Keeps getting smaller and smaller. My husband and I are already talking about a 300 gallon maybe in another year. Then this tank will turn into a fowlr.

There was a 300 gallon here for sale that use to be in a restaurant and I was soo close to buying it and just putting it in the garage till I was ready! I almost did!

Lol it would have been worth it! It takes a lot to buy all the supplies needed! I found a lot of deals on craigslist. When I first set up the 220 it looked like this....

I ended up buying a 125 for 350$ and used all the rock from it to fill up my tank. Then sold off the rest of the stuff separately. In the end, I got 200lbs of rock for free! And some extra cash!

Wow you definitely put some time and money into it. I kick myself now for not buying the 300 cuz it was on Craigslist here and do cheap! It had the tank all the stuff to run it and the stand for 800. I really wish I had. I went back the next day to look for it again and it was gone! Where do you find your large tanks at? I can't seem to find them here except on Craigslist

I get everything on Craigslist. I have a business license so I can go to wholesalers- but the mark up on tanks and equipment is very minimal.

That's pretty cool! I'm going to just keep checking it out till I find something that works for me! Good luck with your tank it's beautiful!

Thanks! It wasn't easy at first with the yellow and the sailfin nor with the purple because of the similar body shapes. The sailfin and yellow were introduced within two days in a smaller tank. I added the purple after we converted to the 220 while the sailfin and yellow were still a little confused to the new territory so it made life a lot easier since they were all confused and had less time to worry about "mine mine mine". There was still a little picking at each other. But all 5 tangs in the tank do so well with each other now
