I have 5 neons, 3 Colombian tetras, 3 lemon tetras, 4 diamond tetras, 2 Siamese algae eaters, 1 clown pleco and 3 ruby barbs and a few ramshorn and trumpet snails

No I've never tried nor do o have the right set up.

Thanks!! Been up and running for almost 2 years. Never had an issue . Just shut down my 55g and added some new fish to this one. Fully stocked and everything is great so far! No ammonia spikes... was totally worried about a mini cycle as I changed filters but so far so good

Yea i just got a 20 today from the petco sale nd i cant wait to get started gotta sell my labs though they started fighting but my plan for the new 20 gal is this:
2(pair)- african butterfly cichlid
6- juili cories
4/5- black skirt tetra

I think u should do whatever you feel good with . I always do the research and stay on top of care and your good! Post some pics, would live to see progress "following" !!!
