For the info, this tank is more than 3 years old right now and we build this w/ a company of my cousin.
Tank dimension it's about 4x5 feet and 3.5 feet deep... and 1x4 ft. / 1.5 ft. at the back of the tank for the filtration box (3 chamber)made of concrete. and 1x4/ 0.5ft. deep for filtration box at the top near the mini water falls made of concrete also.
Tank background contents of rock slate
Glass thickness, 1/2 in.
About the tree roots it measured 4ft. in height(very huge )...found it in our neighborhood backyard(i'm so lucky )

The filtration is very simple, 2 motors one in the inside connect to the chamber(outside) and one in the outside to carry or flow the water up to 1x4 ft. /1.5ft. filtration box near the mini waterfalls on the top of the tank, it's simple filtration but a lots of WC. As for WC 50% once a week.

About the cost... very cheap...less than $300
