WOW! What incredible pictures! How do you get them to pose?!??!?! LOL!
 
judging by the darkness of the pics in what i would assume is a brightly-lit tank, i would guess that he's using a really fast shutter speed, so the movement doesn't matter so much. gorgeous fish, and beautiful pics.
 
Thanks everyone.

I have a brightly lit tank, but the remote flashes for the camera do most of the work. Im using two flashes...one onboard, and the other over the top of the tank.

I found a much better pic of my juvy red empress taken last night. I added the new pic to the original post.
