Anyone use a Canon ip4200

I just got a printer finally for my computer and I picked up a Canon ip4200. Has anyone used or owned one of these things before? The thing puts out great pics on standard paper, but it just has some crazy software that I dont care for. What ever happend to right clicking a picture or document and the computer put you into a print preview menu where you could make a couple of changes and then push the print button and out came a copy of whatever you wanted to print?

Edit*

Sorry may have posted in wrong forum. May need one of the mods to move to the photogragy forum.
