Thanks, each pair has a 10 gallon. I find that it works for me, but I wouldnt recommend it to first time apisto keepers.

I feed them mainly new life spectrum h2o flakes, and then blackworms, bloodworms and brine shrimp

So far I havent had much luck with them raising the fry all the way, but when they do of course!

Thanks! Mine actually dont like brine shrimp, at least not the frozen package. I keep lots of moss around and feed the fry vinegar eels and then get them to nls asap!

Your apistogramma's are beautiful little cichlids.

There are some differences, but rams used to be in the apistogramma genus. They are both south american dwarf cichlids, they both like soft water. Apistos prefer a little cooler temps. There are close to 100 species of apistogramma and the differences pick up there. Aggression and other traits very from species to species.
