Well, it's time to start accepting photos for the Aug Saltwater Photo contest.

As with every other monthly photo contest you should read the rules here first.

Then submit your photos for this contest.

Submissions will be accepted up till 7/24/03 12:00AM

Contest photo winners will receive 100 Kudos, thumbnail on the home page, their full size photo along with a description of the contents on the saltwater photo page and finally inclusion into the Photos of the Month photo album .

Royal Gramma Basslet
Scientfic name: Gramma loreto

Taken with an Olympus D-450 zoom 1.3 mega pixel

Care includes, plenty of hiding spaces, eats brine and meaty foods, can be territorial at times.

Common Name: Ritteri Anemone with mated Pink Skunk Clowns
Scientific Name: Heteractis Magnifica with Amphiprion Perideraion.

Care: High light requirement, prefers MH. Above average water quality and med-low water flow.

Anemone is 18" across housed in a 90g reef tank with 4x96w PC lighting. It is perched atop a tall rock structure at >4" from the surface which allows for the lower light. Anemone is @ 4½ years and the clowns are @ 2½ years.

No target feeding has ever been used. Only secondary supplimentation through normal additions of fish feedings.
