So I went and met one of my club members a " The fish store" in north Seattle, pretty awesome little place.

Look what I found!

They are pure awesomeness and only get about 4" (remind me of fuzzy slippers while they rest on the bottom). Tetraodon baileyi is the scientific name if you wish to look them up. Watch your fingers, they bite hard lol

Its a Hairy Puffer (Monotrete Baileyi). They don't move very often. You can see movement from them when hunting for food. Each need 20+ gallons. Attached to them is a high price tag since its hard to find them.

They cost $40+ in my area. Which store were you looking? Maybe I can drop by and take a look since we're in the same state.

I saw it at "The Fish Store" on Roosevelt Way NE in Seattle.

Oh I've been there. Its a great fish store. I forgot all about it. I'll check it out this weekend.

I also go to "A Place for Pets" in Burien.
Then there is "Pet-Pourri" in Everette
And Sierra Pet & Fish in Renton
Still need to go to Fishaholics.
