Dallas Zoo visit - 2/5/06

My daughter and I visited the Dallas Zoo today and I took a few shots that have an 'aquatic' theme:

Tiger Salamander

Texas Blind Salamander

Predaceous Diving Beetle

Sunburst Diving Beetles

Asian Short-clawed Otter

Nice pictures! Looks like you had fun! When are you going to add some diving beetles to your tank?

Thanks for the comments.

I'll add diving beetles when I have a tank containing fish that are too big for them to eat but too small to eat the beetles. No such tank exists at this time

Kind of off topic and on an old Topic, but how is the Dallas vs. Ft Worth?

mmm, that Texas Blind Salamander makes me miss San Marcos. Such a peacefull town compared to Tyler. The San Marcos lake/river is the only place in the world you can see that salamander in the wild.
