I'll ask at the LFS I got them from for more details. I know they came from a supplier in Vietnam

Ok so I dont have a good picture of my one remaining GBR, but how many rams is to many? I am thinking of getting another smaller GBR to go with the large ram I have. I am wondering if I could possible squeezing a third. I will try to get a pic of mine up soon. BTW, does anyone else's GBR look like he has had a stroke? The one side of the lips on mine looks like he had a stroke...

My Male GBR.. This is an old photo.. Will try and get an updated one soon.

In the last couple of days my male golden ram has turned pale, breathing fast and gone of his food. I moved him from a 50ltr and into my new 200ltr community tank, all the fish were fine with the move. Any ideas on what has caused this. Every day is a learning day. I'm based in Germany so the translation gets lost and I've only started with aquariums in the last couple of months

Oh no sorry, I was talking about the photo I posted earlier.
It sounds like there is something stressing your ram out. Do some water tests to rule out possibilities.

Had to get my GBR a friend...ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1402404228.761841.jpgImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1402404244.750113.jpgImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1402404257.777534.jpg
The Opaline Gourami is about 4 1/2 inches if that gives you a size comparison... The small Ram is about 1 1/2 inches.

Back to a single ram... My big boy passed yesterday after battle of fish guts... Guess I'll b headed back to LFS to find a new partner! Hope they have some in stock!

I went to my LFS today to get two german blue rams. I wanted a male and a female. The one I got was defiantly a male but I'm not sure if I one I got that was said to be a female is actually a female. I think I ended up with two males.
Here is the definite male: http://i1172.photobucket.com/albums...C-EAF5-4B05-8C68-E1AAA42003A7_zps9n1bpad0.jpg
Here is the one that's supposed to be a female: http://i1172.photobucket.com/albums...C-D138-4853-9314-09BE196C3350_zpsfazqbkcp.jpg

Ya both looks to be male. To be honest, I thought the ram in the first photo was a female.

Here are my fav one and half years old GBR male. Very healthy and eats all day, everyday. I kind of bought several females and they didn't last for long.
Currently one female left and keep watching her carefully. But it is interesting and love this exp. cheers!
