My formal has a lot more blue speckle in her as opposed to some others females. She's actually quite colorful.

What do you guys consider the best food?
At the moment I'm feeding the Aqueon mini color enhancing cichlid pellets, but I know that can not the best option for them.

Well when I got mine for joe he suggested fresh hatches brine shrimp but I have no time to deal with hatching them or going back an forth to the store for em. He also mentioned beef heart and he's the only one to recommend it because everywhere else I hear it bloats and kills fish. So I feed them bloodworms which is an absolute favorite and they also go after my hikari bottom feeder wafers and algae wafer

I feed mine omega one super color cichlid pellets 2-3 times a day and blood worms only twice a week because I heard they can cause constipation or infection if fed too much and they can be messy.
