I got 6 because of Fresh2o appreciation of them and seeing them in his tank. They hang out closely.

Noticed last week when I was checking moving stock around, they seem to like cooler rather than warmer water.

Also, I think the number should be better with more, maybe 10 - a dozen to be a starter number. They school nicely together.

Yeah, I'm thinking about getting a few more but I didn't want to go overboard all in one go since they're in the 6 gallon edge. Figured I'd give the tank a little time to get used to having real fish in it

They get bigger. And that is a big enough number for a 6.6G.

What is your water like out of the tap (parameters -pH, tds, hardness? ever check GH/KH?

Out of the tap it's around 7.7 but in the tanks it drops to 7.4ish. The GH is 6 drops and KH was 8. Not sure about the others.
