from a anubias barteri var broad leaf.

Nice is it difficult to get them to flower or do they just need good lighting and plentiful nutrients?

mine never flowered before since they never close to the top of the water. in this take they been in there for about 2 years and are a lot taller now. plus i dropped the water line down to get my snails to breed.

under water it is. these are pretty big now from when they started.

so would it be possible to grow them out in an inch or so of water, then put them in a tank or do they have an adjustment period like swords and wisteria?

you have to keep them moist but yes you can grow them out of water. they do have a adjustment period but nothing to bad like the others.
