Hawaiian Striped Squirrel Fish

This is my Hawaiian Striped Squirrel Fish named Hammie Boi (Hammie for short). I've had him for about a week and he is my first "real" fish besides my two damsels. He is doing fabulous! He is about 3 1/2 inches and will get to about 7

I believe he was $30 which wasn't a bad price.

Only problem is...he is "microscopic spines" all over his body...so we have to chase him into a cup if we need to get him out. That will be wonderful fun in a 110 gallon! (I think I need to get a milk jug or something..LOL)

Seems like it would be a good investment to get one of those fish traps that are online.

Yup, good investment indeed. You'll use it a lot and they work well.
