First, in general I agree with the comments made by others so far--the planted background gives the tank more depth, while the black background makes the colors leap out. Thus I like both a ton, for different reasons. Though if I had to pick one, I'd say the black so as to highlight your fish more. But either way, you're left with a really nice look.

this is really hard for me to decide. i like the black because it really makes the colors in the tank "pop". but i like the other also cuz it adds depth.

i dunno...im 50/50
they both look good
 
I'm going to go with the planted background! Overall it makes the tank look bigger and brighter. You don't have real plants so they won't compete with the picture.

If you had real plants and were more heavily planted, I would say to use the black background.
 
I like the blue one, it brightens things up, the black looks so gloomy.
