Saw this fish at the bass pro shop in ny so I think it is native to North America maybe even native to the ny region. I have no idea what it is most are silver and black 1 was silver and Navy blue. It was absolutely beautiful. Probably nicest fresh water fish I have seen so much nicer than the picture shows.

Dawned on me as soon as I posted its a crappie. I googled it after and the pics match. That would look so cool in a large enough aquarium.

Looks like a white crappie i have only seen black crappy before. neither are common where I fish.
