Good looking fishes - very majestic. I always thought they were poisonous or somewhat deadly. I have to read up on them.

they are venomous,, big difference the beautiful spines you see have the venom and if you are jabbed with one you will have horrible pains, and other symptoms that I cant think of at the moment

Great pics. Beautiful fish!

I saw a segment on tv last night about how they are now a pest in the South Atlantic (Fla - GA and as far as ME). From DNA tests they believe that most are decended from just 6 fish.

Fluff- that is one very fat and happy fish. I'm amazed that he/she is that photogenic.....you're dangling a fat shrimp in front of him aren't you? LOL

Thanks everyone.
LOL No MsBeanCtr, he's always like that. He comes to the glass as soon as I come in the room. I'm sure its in hopes of food but he literally chases the camera back and forth. It's very hard to photo anything else in the tank without at least a part of him being in the picture.
