Yes, but you were able to catch that saturation in the photo, quite often, it would get washed out. :)
 
thanks everyone. but these shots have nothing to do with the camera.

a 500 dollar slr camera can put out very similar results

LOL They have a little something to do with the camera. I don't think Ansel Adams could take photos that good with my particular brand of camera. :)
