MACs 55G Reef build/update (Pics)

Im making this thread already 4 months into my tank running so I'll post pics up to the point im at now and then keep regular updates. Thanks for checking it out!

Ditched the biowheel filter. The motor wouldnt seat properly and it was very noisy.


Got some more rock in there

This feather duster did not live very

CURRENT: Heres where the thread is up-to-date with the tank.
I have stocking wise:
-1 Longnose butterfly
-1 Percula clown
-1 Neon Goby
-5 or so Hermits
-2 Black Long Spine Urchins
-1 peppermint shrimp
-1 Orange linckia
removed the serpent/brittle stars after they killed my dottyback

-1 Purple Hammer (pretty big. 5.5")
-Leather (pretty sure its a Fiji even though its not very yellow)
-GSP
-Pulsing Xenia
-Frogspawn
-Kenya Tree

265 Watt Corallife compact fluorescents lighting fixture
MAxijet-600 (one as circulation pump/one return from refugium)
60+ live rock
dual cheap heaters
cheap hob filter

New hammer is looking good!

Hoping my yellow fiji opens fully soon. Also trying get some mushrooms in there this week.

Well I got a purple tip anemone a few days ago and this morning i found him in the pump. Its kind of bittersweet because I regretted putting him in the tank within a few hours for fear that he would kill my corals so now i dont have to worry about that but I dont like killing anything I wish he didnt go out like that.
