More Fish and Plants

I'm working on my photography skills and figuring out what I can do with my camera. I'm somewhat limited in that my camera is a Sony DSC-P92 with mainly auto settings so I can't set most of the variables. If anyone has any advice on how I can best take advantage of it and/or improve my pics (see examples below) please let me know. Thanks guys

Ps. acei (a bit blurry) in front of M. umbrosum and P. stellatus.
