Yeah...they often sell terrestrial tropical plants as "aquarium plants". They arent the only ones that do it either. Im really not sure why they do it. But every time i go in there or any other big box store that sells fish i cringe.
 
Truthfully the best way to get true aquatic plants is buying the online...it does cost more because of shipping but in the end its well worth it

You have a few semi aquatic plants in there...the bamboo and the variegated leafed plant not sure on the name. You may find they will die off eventually. Semi aquatic plants only tolerate the root system submerged

So it's been about 8 months since I got that bamboo. Still had no problems with it yet. I'm impressed! Probably going to pus some more bamboo to put in there too :)
