Hi, my first post : )
Is that a starlight! I want one of those so bad!
Hey! I believe it is known as snowball or inspector pleco. Either L142 or L201. First time I am able to take a pic with light on!
Absolutely stunning. Unfortunately my pleco has a bad eye that's very sensitive. If he keeps that one eye shaded he's fine, but if its not he freaks.
Which one do you have? Oh btw I just found out that my Pleco is actually L240 and it goes by Galaxy of some sort.
Beautiful pattern.
It's a bristlenose
Yes and No
Bristlenose are usually the common name for Ancistrus species.
L240 are Scientific Name Leporacanthicus cf. galaxias(l240)
Yes the males have some Odontodes ( my new word of the day ) but not the same as common Bristlenose Plecos.
I'm a member of Planet Catfish
I learn new stuff there all the time.
L240s eat a lot of meaty foods. And they are gorgeous fish

Good info! But I was saying my pleco was a common BN
