In one of my last posts I said I would post a pic of my duncan colony. Well, I started snapping off pictures and well, now you all get to be bored now!

First off, my newest clam-squamosa clam. I wasn't too happy with the coloring on it but I guess I'm lucky that I even got one this size so....

Next, my newest maze brain coral. You'll notice, in the left hand portion of the picture a corner of my green brain.....

Here's a picture again of the brain from early this morning.....crazy thing

And lastly, my favorite 'chunky monkey' hippo tang

Do clams get better colors after they have been under good light for a while like corals or will it just stay with the color pattern it has? Nice pictures all around. I wish my duncan would get that big. Real slow growing in my tank for some reason.

I'm not sure on the sqamosa clam. I do know that my deresa clam colored up nicely after a few weeks. I would assume the same would happen with my new clam but I've not seen up close pics of other squamosa's. Perhaps Melosu will chime in here.....he's got a nice one.

It would be interesting to see periodic pictures of the clam so you could compare the colors as time goes on. Seeing them side to side would make it easier to tell if the colors are changing. I know how you love taking pictures for us : )

Nice pics and very nice corals! I had a maze brain coral almost exactly like that one, I'm pretty sure it was a Platygyra. Very cool although doesn't like terribly bright light.

Very nice looking tank. Your squamosa will brighten up over time. Mine did. Great looking corals and fish.
