Our new fish

Here's our new scooter blenny he likes to show off for the other blenny and chases her (we think it is) across the tank from what we have read the male shows off his larger top fin to impress the female, our other fish is quite smaller than than this one and has a smaller fin that is rarely raised. They are fast and fun to watch!

Thanks Kevin, just the one that we entered in the contest with it on the pipe organ, they have left it alone since moving it up top but will occasionally skim across the top. I can't believe how fast they move and the strength they have in those little fins you can barely see, they move up the glass and the other day I saw one of them hovering upside down looking for something, it was weird. Where we bought them they told us that we might have problems being that they are very territorial, but after further reading about them we found out that one is a male and one is a female, pretty cool doubt we will have little ones though, she doesn't seem interested in him. One thing I noticed when he is shall we say courting her his face turns real dark and almost dark purple looking and he is an extreme show off especially when he sees I'm taking pics. Thanks for the compliment!

It amazes me that they call scooter blennies, "blennies" and mandarin gobies, "gobies". Because after looking at a fish atlas they both look just like "dragonets" and nothing like a blenny or goby.
