Picture of my betta in his moss bed
Here's a picture of Eli in his moss bed. I didn't wake him up (I wouldn't do that just for a pic). I lightened the picture up a little in Photoshop. His head is near the suction cup. He usually does tuck himself in the bed when the all the lights go out. Before I go to bed I usually check on him and Peyton and they are in their beds most of the time. One night when I checked, I saw Eli swimming around rapidly and I saw that his bed was tilted down (suction cups had slipped), so I pushed it back up and before my hand was out of the tank, he was in the bed!

How cute! I love watching all my bettas (especially the females) nest in and sleep. I never knew fish would do this until now! My females actually lay on the bottom in a certain spot to sleep. It cracks me up! At first I thought there was something wrong with them and checked my parameters and everything was perfect! Silly human!
