my bristle nosesil start with the girls first I got today shes about 2.5cm the girls together are about 5cm and male on the end isabout 14-15cm

Here are my plecos! They don't have names, but this thread has made me really think they need them! The first is my common pleco in my 30 gallon cichlid tank that I no longer have. He now lives in a community tank along with the clown pleco in the second picture. He is new as of last night.

Very peaceful , quite busy, good cleaners, sensitive about water conditions, over 20 gallons

Sorry he is 8 inches, yes they have similar behavior to plecos but does not hide all the time like some, maybe that's because he is pretty long so he can't really hide. There other name is whiptails catfish. So yah there a catfish like plecos.

The 29 would work for a while but once he got bigger he would need a new home.

Didnt get a pic, but saw a lady walk out of the LFS.on Tuesday with a 12 inch common Sailfin pleco, he poked a hole in the bag they were trying to carry him out in.

And unless you want to see something gory, my pleco pics willn't be shared, since he was ground/cut from 5 inches long to 2 inches long after going up the intake of my filter.

@dizzydea So they are not considered fish eaters like other catfish? I have Cory's ,Rainbows and BN Pleco , and rainbow goby
