Nice little find at my LFS today! Named him Monarch as he reminded me of the butterfly.

OMG!! that is I am pretty sure the most beautiful Betta I have ever seen! I love the blue "butterfly" rim on his tail and that bright peachy-orange is amazing!!

God I saw a beauty in a similar shade at petco, but I no longer support them, I boycott their fish to send my business local.

What a fish!! I might save that photo if you don't mind so I can look for something similar...

Far west on the coast in central California. Bummer! I still have just one Betta, my humble blue white butterfly delta fella. He was a cup fish and had the chips stacked against him, somehow a year later he doing great!

Here is a more up to date picture of my Rocket, he is recovering so well bearing in mind that he barely had any tail left after the fin rot he had caught his shop tank. He is the friendliest fish I have ever met, and he comes up to greet me whenever I enter the room. However, he moves so fast that it is impossible to get a decent photo!

Might be getting a new male tomorrow! Depends on what the LFS gets in. She has started ordering some really nice ones, like elephant ears and half-moons. Depending on what's there I may get one or two. Hopefully there aren't three that I just can't live without, since I currently have space for just two unless I can rig another divider up...

How do u find what classifieds are local?

It's like classifieds in a newspaper for various items for sale, except on a website. I got lucky and found an ad for this fish in pets.

I really like my kuhli too, Hillstream loaches are beautiful i always wanted them but my temperature of my tank is too warm
