My bumblebee betta

Love HIM! Isn't that fish such a beautiful color palette?

 I was about 30 feet away from the register from buying his twin cousin just a few days ago! Melting my heart to buy one just like that... still.

Might be ordering one special guy from Thailand. I need to see if it is still available. Since I live 15 miles from the trans shipper and she is a member of the CAS, I can go pick up the fish!

love betas and i think there really beautiful so post your pics of them here :)
Yes ik his tank has some algae, it's a newer tank. They all go through it. He has help in there besides me cleaning as well. The second pic is my wild green spot betta. The white guy is Walter, he had pop eye in the store so I took him home, he didn't give up, so I never gave up. He is such a beautiful boy. The fourth pic is of my newest guy I took from Walmart. He was last one on the shelf. I just made it possible for this one walmart to not sell them. My area can hardly support this Walmart let alone buy fish from it. The lil koi is a female. When I got her I thought she was yellow and white and she was so badly burned. The last pic, those 4 are also Walmart rescues. I did not pay for these Walmart fish. They where all labeled trash. Legit they where in trash cans. I saw the containers in trash with water and fish in them. These are just a few of my 31 betta fish I own. I have 7 females and 24 males. I do own a gaint betta as well. Not sure on his tail type. He is a black orchid though, I have 4 black orchid's. I have thought about breeding. Ik it's not easy and not cheap. Then I wouldn't have a place for all my fry either. IMG_20190112_104006.jpgIMG_20190112_103753.jpgIMG_20190112_103725.jpgIMG_20190112_103643.jpgIMG_20190112_103702.jpg

Saw this guy in a store in North NJ and had to have it. I just fell in love with him.
I live in Virginia so it was 5 hour trip home. The temp outside was about 12 degrees. I got a bucket of water, heater and thermometer to make make sure this little fella stays at toasty 76 degrees. I just got home last night so he is in 5 gallon without any decorations. The idea is to have him in 10 gallon planted tank that I’m about to setup. IMG_7816.jpgIMG_7815.jpg

Here is my little friend which was imported from Thailand, thread link below

He was supposed to be yellow and blue I got this sad, pitiful fish, I called him the walking dead fish / swimming dead. He had little life left in him.

But after 6 weeks fin rot and illness, and wondering if it was even possibly the same fish we have made progress to this.

He has a increase in spunk and seems to act more like a real Betta.

Betta fry @ 12 days & SHOWING COLOR ?

I'm new to bettas, but after reading a lot about fry, I was so sad that I was going to have to wait 4-5 weeks before I saw any color, so this makes me so happy!!! I love these little babies!
