Got a new light! So excited, changed from the 15 watt Petco light that came with my tank to a finnex fugeray planted + and it's amazing, I didn't realize how dark my tank was before until I turned the new light on. Plus it has a moonlight which Periwinkle, my white betta, looks so cool in! I'm really hoping my corckscrew vals that are supposed to be filling in the back of the left half of the tank will actually grow now that they have root tabs and a good light source. So excited :) :) :)
